  • 100 ml 100 full cream milk

  • Pinch sea salt (to taste)

  • 50 g 50 Cocoa powder

  • Ingredients Nashi Pears:
  • 4 4 nashi pears (peeled)

  • 500 ml 500 light red wine

  • 500 ml 500 water

  • 1 1 cinnamon quill

  • 1 1 star anise

  • 1 1 orange

  • 1 1 vanilla bean

  • 1 cup 1 caster sugar

Directions

  • For the Perfect Nashi Pears:
  • Select a saucepan spacious enough to cradle all six Nashi pears comfortably side by side.
  • Cut a circular piece of baking paper slightly smaller than the saucepan’s diameter.
  • Over medium heat, pour red wine, water, cinnamon, and sugar into the saucepan, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  • Using a vegetable peeler, create two long strips of orange zest and add them to the wine mixture. Allow it to simmer for approximately 10 minutes.
